Beau Cheval provides all bartending services in-house. For safety, compliance, and consistency, outside or couple-hired bartenders are not permitted.
You supply the alcohol and mixers, and our licensed and insured bartenders handle setup, service, and cleanup in accordance with Tennessee law and venue policy.
Why this matters:
Our bartenders work directly for Beau Cheval. This allows our team to enforce responsible service standards—including the authority to refuse or discontinue service when necessary—to ensure guest safety and protect your event.
Your bar package includes:
One licensed bartender (two bartenders for guest counts of 175+)
Cups, ice, and cocktail napkins
Full bar setup and cleanup by our team
Bar service timing:
Bartender arrival: 1 hour before bar service for setup
Alcohol service: 4.5 hours, beginning immediately after the ceremony
Cleanup: 30 minutes after service concludes
Standard bar service options include:
Up to two signature cocktails, plus beer and wine
Optional custom bar upgrades (premium selections, specialty bars, etc.)
A frozen margarita machine available as an add-on
All alcohol is served exclusively by Beau Cheval’s bartending team—no self-serve stations, no guest-provided alcohol, and no outside bartenders.
Yes. Beau Cheval is a BYOB venue—you provide the alcohol and mixers, and our licensed and insured bartending team handles all service, setup, and cleanup in compliance with Tennessee law.
Important policies:
No guest-provided alcohol. Guests may not bring alcohol onto the property (no flasks, coolers, or tailgating in parking areas).
No homemade or unlicensed alcohol, including moonshine.
All alcohol must be purchased from a licensed retailer and served exclusively by our bartending team—no self-serve stations.
These guidelines keep everyone safe, protect event insurance coverage, and ensure full compliance with state regulations.
This is the easy part! Once you complete our Bar Preference Form, our system automatically generates and sends you a personalized Bar Estimate PDF showing exactly how much alcohol and mixers you’ll need based on your guest count, event length, and bar style (beer and wine only, full bar, etc.). The estimate includes a detailed shopping list, so you’ll know what to buy—without overspending or running short.
We can also connect you with a local supplier who offers event-size discounts and even buys back unopened, unused product, making it easy to plan efficiently and save money.
You can use our bar estimate calculator for your own event. This will give you an instant estimate of your spirits and mixers.
Yes. During the planning process, we’ll connect you with our approved caterers and bakers, who offer tastings so you can sample menu and cake options before making your final selections.
Tastings are scheduled directly with the vendor, and availability, format, and any tasting fees are set by that vendor. Some tastings are complimentary, while others may have a nominal cost.
Your Beau Cheval planning team will guide you on when to schedule tastings so they align smoothly with your overall planning timeline.
Yes, select outside food or dessert items may be approved in advance, such as family recipes, cultural desserts, or late-night snacks.
To meet health, safety, and insurance requirements:
All outside food must be pre-approved
No guest self-service is permitted
Outside food must be set out, served, and cleaned up by your licensed caterer or an approved food professional
Homemade items may require additional approval depending on the item and service plan
These guidelines help ensure food safety, smooth service, and compliance with local regulations while still allowing meaningful personal touches.
Yes. Our approved caterers handle full food service, including setup, breakdown, and removal of all food-related items and trash generated by their service.
All non-food trash (guest trash, restrooms, common areas, etc.) is handled by Beau Cheval’s venue team as part of your package.
Couples, family members, and guests are never expected to assist with setup or cleanup, with one exception:
Any personal décor or items brought in by the couple must be set up and removed by the couple or their designated helpers.
This structure ensures a smooth event flow, clear vendor responsibilities, and a stress-free experience for you and your guests.
